A critique of market populism - the idea that markets under capitalism "do what people want" and express the "will of the people."  Market capitalism is a system of elite rule, like all other class systems. 

It is a mistake for radical activists to attempt to use the electoral system to achieve our goals. The way the system is set up whomever is elected must do largely the same things as his opponet(s). Elections empower the politician, not the voter.

The goal of US foreign policy is to impose its authority on the globe and to maintain a neocolonial economic system that benefits the wealthy. The empire treats different regions of the world differently; each has its own role to play.

States are not neutral tools that anyone can use for any purpose; they are autonomous organizations that develop their own dynamics & interests. They are a form of elite rule.

Authoritarian socialism inevitably leads to the creation of a new elite which dominates and exploits the proletariat.  If the capitalist class is overthrown but the state is not simultaneously abolished the state will establish itself as a new ruling class.

Individualism and collectivism are two sides of the same coin.  Neither individuals nor groups are more important than the other, nor do they conflict with each other.

Of all the extremists, the worst are the moderates.

We build the structure of the new society within the shell of the old. The initial framework of anarchy is created within the old society during the struggle against hierarchy.  Some thoughts on overthrowing the present society and creating an anarchist one.

Property is theft. Work is slavery. They should both be abolished in favor of a free society organized along the lines of "from each according to ability, to each according to need."

The so-called "war on terrorism" is a myth - there is no war on terrorism.  It is actually a propaganda device used by Bush and his cronies to ram through their authoritarian agenda.

Capitalism, the state and all other forms of hierarchy should be abolished. Instead, we should have a society in which everyone has control over their own life and an equal say in all decisions that involve them.

Creationism is not a valid theory. It conflicts with established scientific theories, which are supported by mountains of evidence, and one of the keys to their beliefs, that the Bible be interpreted literally, is nonsense
